Setting up a custom domain for your job board is a two-step process.
First, you need to set up a CNAME record with your DNS provider (GoDaddy, Name.com, Namecheap, for instance).
Different DNS providers have different processes for this, but it will look something like this:
- Log in to your domain name provider
- Select your domain (e.g. enlist.io)
- Look for anything that says DNS, Name Servers, or Domain Name Servers. Go there.
- Look for something that allows you to add a new record. Select CNAME and add a record that points to jobs.enlist.io.
For example, if you want jobs.acme.com to be your job board's URL, you will have to create a CNAME record that points jobs.acme.com to jobs.enlist.io. Please note that this change can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
